Position: Contracts Manager
Job Type: Full-time
Location: Hybrid (Virginia Beach / Remote)

Summary
INTER-OP is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Contract Manager   to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing contract compliance for contracts that include GSA Schedules, large GWAC’s and competitive contracts and task orders.  You will also s erve as primary organizational contact during contract negotiations and work to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements in existing contracts.

Responsibilities:

• Knowledge of FAR/DFAR regulations and maintaining DCAA compliance for government contractors is essential.
• Serve as primary organizational contact during contract negotiations.
• Manages contract reporting and compliance for GSA Schedules and GWAC contracts.
• Generates and manages Teaming Agreements and Non-Disclosure Agreements.
• Conducts contract negotiation, manages and documents contract modifications and administers contract compliance.
• Serve as advisor regarding contractual requirements, risk mitigation, customer specifications and government regulations.
• Advise management of contractual rights and obligations and provide interpretation of terms and conditions.
• Be the main point of contact for government contracting officers and representatives. 

Qualifications / Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Contract Management, Law, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in contract management, with a minimum of 5 years in government contracting preferred.
• Thorough knowledge of FAR, DFARS, and other federal regulations.
• Strong negotiation and contract administration skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Keen attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Professional certifications like CFCM or CPCM are a big plus.
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
