**Job Title: Assembler**
**Job Description**
Join our team as an assembler responsible for producing high-quality medical devices, primarily in a clean room environment. This role involves the formulation of polymers and spray coatings, as well as the operation of various machinery. Your work will contribute to the creation of medical devices used in healthcare settings.
**Responsibilities**
+ Operate machinery to produce medical devices in compliance with specifications.
+ Follow manufacturing instructions and accurately update job documentation for traceability.
+ Prepare and package products for sterilization.
+ Inspect products using a microscope.
+ Ensure activities comply with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
+ Set up and operate coating machines, coat, inspect, and fold balloon catheters.
+ Prepare and test excipient and spray coating formulations.
+ Package both sterile and non-sterile finished or semi-finished goods.
+ Identify supplies that need replenishment.
+ Build components necessary for top-level work orders.
+ Complete required cleaning activities.
**Essential Skills**
+ Proficiency in English (medium level).
+ Comfortable standing for the entire shift.
+ Willingness to work overtime.
+ Comfortable working with chemicals.
+ Experience with microscope inspection preferred.
+ 1+ year of experience in medical device manufacturing.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Familiarity with cleanroom procedures, including gowning and de-gowning.
+ High School diploma or equivalent education.
+ Experience in pharmaceutical or aseptic environments is an advantage.

**Work Environment**
Work in a cleanroom environment where safety and cleanliness are prioritized. The role requires standing throughout the shift and involves exposure to chemicals. Enjoy two 30-minute breaks, with one being a paid break.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Irvine, California.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $24.00/hr.
