• Title: Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist

• Type: Travel Contract (13 weeks)

• Schedule:

  • Day Shift: 5x8-Hour (11:30 20:00)

  • Mid Shift: 5x8-Hour (15:00 23:30)

• Start Date: 06/30/2025

We are seeking a Certified CT Technologist for a 13-week assignment to support diagnostic imaging in a dynamic healthcare environment. The role involves working across multiple departments including emergency, ICU, and outpatient settings, performing CT scans to assist in diagnosis and treatment. Technologists must be proficient with contrast administration and post-processing imaging protocols.

• Perform diagnostic CT scans including abdomen, pelvis, chest, brain, spine, and musculoskeletal studies.

• Operate Siemens and Toshiba CT equipment and use PACS for image management.

• Start IVs, administer contrast material, and manage venipuncture as required.

• Conduct special procedures such as biopsies, drainage , and vascular CTA (if skilled).

• Assist in Code Stroke protocols and emergency scan coverage.

• Float between like units as required.

• Document procedures and patient data using Epic charting system .

• Adhere to radiation safety and infection prevention protocols.

• Work rotating weekends and holidays as needed.

• Experience Required: 1 year minimum in CT Tech

• First-timers Accepted: Yes

• Weekends Required: Yes, on a rotating basis

• Block Schedules: Not guaranteed; subject to manager discretion

• Guaranteed Hours: Facility may cancel 1 shift per 2-week pay period

• RTO Restrictions: Must be submitted at time of application

• Floating Required: Yes, between like units

• Locals Accepted: Yes

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.

• At least 1 year of CT experience in an acute care setting.

• Community hospital experience preferred.

• ARRT (R) Required

• BLS Required

• Venipuncture Certification Required

• Fluoro Permit Preferred

• Abdomen and pelvis with/without contrast

• Chest CTs with/without contrast

• Head, neck, spine (cervical, thoracic, lumbar)

• Vascular CTA & brain perfusion

• Image reconstruction and post-processing (MPR)

• Biopsies

• Aspirations

• Drainage

• Myelography

• Arthrography

• Venipuncture

• Peripheral IV starts

• Code Stroke response

• Contrast media administration

• Multimodal image display via PACS
